    Flavors of Old Mexico

    Cacao, Tortillas, and a Hands-On Taste of Rural Vallarta

    After breakfast we’ll embark on a journey through the rural landscapes and towns near Puerto Vallarta, where you’ll experience the essence of local communities and connect with old Mexico. We’ll visit a cacao farm, and local honey shop, before learning to make tortillas at a traditional tortillería. After an authentic cooking class, we’ll dig into a delicious family-style al fresco meal, made from the dishes we’ve prepared, set against the stunning backdrop of the Sierra Madre mountains. In the evening, wander through town exploring at your own pace with new LGBTQIA+ friends.

    Coastal Trails & Hidden Beaches

    A Scenic Hike, a Sparkling Beach, & Lunch in Boca de Tomatlán

    This morning we’ll head out early to beat the crowds. We’ll wander through a charming local village and set off on a short hike to a small hidden beach – where the clear waters sparkle with gold flecks from the sand, and Macaws can sometimes be seen flying overhead. We’ll wrap up our hike with a tasty local-style lunch in Boca de Tomatlan before taking a boat taxi back into town.

    Ringing in the New Year Together

    Fireworks & a Queer Family Feast

    Today is a day to take it easy and choose your own adventure. Hit the beach, do some shopping, or maybe grab street tacos and spicy margs. In the evening we’ll celebrate New Years Eve in style with a queer family feast and an open bar before watching the fireworks from the rooftop at midnight.

    Brunch, Boats & Bahía Sunset Views

    Sailing, Whale Watching, & Snorkeling to Start the Year

    After a slow morning and hearty Mexican brunch, we’ll kick off the new year with an epic day out at sea on an 80 foot sailing yacht. Enjoy an open bar and chef prepared eats while we whale watch, snorkel, and relax in the on-board hot tub with a margarita in hand. We’ll watch the sunset over Bahía de Banderas before returning to the marina.

    Sip, Savor & Slay

    An Immersive Tequila Experience & Legendary Cabaret

    For our final full day together we’ll dive into the wilder side of Mexican culture with a vibrant and immersive tequila tasting. During this sensory experience you’ll discover that tequila is far more than just a drink – it’s a cultural expression, a celebration of craftsmanship, and a gateway to connection. Later in the evening we’ll amp up the queer vibes with an outstanding drag performance by the award-winning Palm Cabaret.

Activities like snorkeling and whale watching are relaxed and optional, with plenty of time built in to rest, float, or simply take it all in.
