Refund & Cancellation

Because life happens — and we believe in clarity, not confusion.

We know committing to a trip like this is a big deal. That’s why we’ve created a refund policy that’s transparent, fair, and designed to support both you and the community we’re bringing together.

What’s Non-Refundable

A 25% deposit of the total trip price (per person) is required to reserve your spot and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Why? Because we’re staying in private boutique accommodations, and booking curated excursions ahead of time, and we’re required to make non-refundable payments to hold your space.


What’s Refundable

You’re eligible for a full refund of any payments made beyond the initial deposit if you cancel more than 180 days prior to the start date of the trip.

This gives you flexibility — and gives us time to offer your spot to someone else.


Partial Refund

If you cancel between 60-180 days prior to the start date of the trip, we may be able to offer a partial refund (minus your deposit and any unrecoverable costs).

The refund amount is at the discretion of Queer Connect.


No Refund

If you cancel less than 60 days prior to the trip start date, all payments are non-refundable.

At this stage, most of our vendors are paid and plans are locked in. Thank you for understanding and respecting the commitments we make on your behalf.


Transfers

Can’t make it but know someone who can?

You may transfer your spot to another approved guest up to one month prior to the start date of the trip. 

In certain cases, we can allow spot transfers up to one week prior to the trip. This is dependent on the type of trip and whether or not name-specific bookings have already been secured as a part of the itinerary (domestic flights for example).

Travel Insurance is Strongly Recommended

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage, medical emergencies, and delays.

For certain trips, we may require you to purchase travel insurance. In these cases, we will ask you to provide proof of insurance at least 90 days prior to the start date of the trip, or risk forfeiting your spot. Why? Because your safety and well-being is our priority.
